$25 AC Tune-Up for Utah Homes

A neglected air conditioner often runs longer cycles and can push energy bills higher than they need to be. This visit focuses on inspection, performance checks, and early warning signs so you are not stuck waiting when the first heat wave hits.

$25 AC tune-up
  • Technicians review key components and operating condition before peak cooling season.
  • We look for airflow limits, dirty heat transfer surfaces, and wear that tends to show up as expensive repairs mid-summer.
  • Book early to avoid the rush that hits right before Utah's hottest weeks.

Why schedule an AC tune-up now

Summer demand fills calendars fast. Maintenance before the heat arrives gives you a clearer picture of system health and leaves time to address small problems on your schedule, not on the hottest day of the year.

Cooling performance

Cleaning, settings, and airflow checks support steady supply air temperatures and reasonable run times so rooms reach setpoint without the system fighting itself.

Operating costs

When coils are dirty, filters are packed, or charge is off spec, the compressor and fan motor work harder. That extra runtime shows up on the monthly bill even if the house still feels "okay" for a while.

Fewer surprise breakdowns

Worn contactors, weak capacitors, and blocked drains fail under load. Catching them during a tune-up visit is almost always less disruptive than losing cooling during a red-flag heat advisory.

What we focus on during the visit

Your technician follows a structured checklist tailored to central air and heat pump cooling operation. Exact steps vary by equipment type and accessibility, but the goal is the same: verify safe operation, measure performance, and flag anything that should be corrected before it escalates.

  • Electrical and controls: Inspect connections, contactors, capacitors, and safeties that protect the compressor.
  • Airflow path: Evaluate filter condition, blower cleanliness, and duct-related restrictions that starve the coil.
  • Refrigerant circuit: Check temperatures and pressures against manufacturer expectations to spot leaks or incorrect charge.
  • Condensate management: Clear or test drains and pan so water damage does not take you by surprise.
  • Outdoor unit: Inspect coil fins, fan blade, cabinet, and surrounding clearance for Utah dust, wind, and seasonal debris.

If we find a repair item, we explain the finding, show photos when helpful, and quote the fix before any additional work proceeds.

AC tune-up questions

Straight answers homeowners ask before booking.

Does the $25 tune-up apply to every home?
The promotion is intended for standard residential cooling maintenance on qualifying systems in our normal service area. Commercial properties, rental portfolios, and specialty equipment may be priced separately. Call (385) 438-3332 and we will confirm eligibility before we dispatch.
How long does an AC tune-up take?
Most visits finish in about one to two hours depending on system age, location of the air handler, and whether we find conditions that need deeper cleaning or testing.
Will you refill refrigerant for $25?
The $25 offer covers the comprehensive tune-up inspection. Refrigerant recovery, leak repair, and recharge are billed separately per EPA regulations, and refrigerant is billed by weight when a verified correction is needed. Our technicians document all pressures and temperatures so you clearly understand any recommended correction.
What happens after June 30, 2026?
This promotional rate ends on June 30, 2026. Standard maintenance pricing returns after that date. If you miss the window, ask about our Gold Star inspection and other seasonal offers on the service specials page.
